Mainely Hounds was built on a simple belief: dogs don’t need to be fixed, they need to be understood.
I’ve lived life with the easy, happy-go-lucky dogs… and the ones who struggled. The fearful ones. The reactive ones. The puppies who tested every ounce of patience. Through caring for my own dogs and learning from trainers along the way, I stopped trying to “fix” behavior and started focusing on understanding it.
That shift changed everything.
Today, Mainely Hounds is built on compassionate care, real-life experience, and a belief that every dog deserves to be met where they are, and supported from there.

Dog Camp
Group socialization, structured play, positive training and individualized attention. Your pup is going to have a productive day and come home tired!

Whether or not you need training at your home, on a walk, or in a public place we meet you and your dog where they are and with what they need.
$100/hr

boarding
Boarding in a cozy home environment. Your dog’s training will continue while in our care: Regulation using the place cot/crate as needed, daily exercise, and 1:1 attention. Daily “Pupdates” included!
$100/night | $600/week
